Rights & Responsibilities

1. I have the right to praise God in school.

I have the responsibility to go to mass and receive the sacraments. I must behave, listen, sing, and pray in church. I need to stand up for God!

2. I have the right to learn.

I have the responsibility to listen to teachers. I also need to listen when anyone is talking and help anyone if they need help. I need to work quietly in school and do all of the work I am required to do in school and at home. I must always do my best.

3. I have to right to have fun in school.

I have the responsibility to let everyone play, to play fairly, to share, take turns, and not exclude anyone who wants to play with me. I will try to make new friends. I must tell an adult when someone is being bullied.

4. I have the right to be safe.

I have the responsibility to not play rough, not hurt others with what I say or do. I must be careful, follow rules, complete my classroom jobs, and pick up after myself. I need to let an adult know when someone is hurt.

5. I have the right to be respected.

I have the responsibility to treat others the way I want to be treated. I must use good manners and not talk back to adults at home and at school.
