• I am presently in my 33rd year of teaching and have been at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School for 32 of my 33 years of teaching. I taught sixth grade for one year, seventh grade for six years, fifth grade for four years, eighth grade for five years, fourth grade for ten years, and now I am in my seventh year of eighth grade again. I graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. I graduated from Webster University with a Master of Arts degree in education.

I am also an alumnus of SS. Peter and Paul School. I am married and have three daughters. I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a fine Catholic school. I enjoy teaching children and find education to be a very rewarding career.

    Mission for the Class

My mission is to create a classroom environment where children are able to grow and learn. Students should feel free to express themselves in an accepting and caring environment. I believe in challenging students to reach their highest potential and strive to do their "personal best". It is my mission for all students to grow in their Catholic faith and become people of good character and integrity. I want my students to enjoy their learning experiences in eighth grade. After all, learning should be fun.
