• Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Amber Willis and I am the Kindergarten teacher at Saints Peter and Paul. This will be my third year teaching Kindergarten. I am very passionate about the primary years. 

    I previously taught and worked with Preschool through 5th Grade, including Special Education. I was also a Substitute Teacher for a year and have been a full-time summer nanny for over five years. 

    I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Teacher’s License at North Central College in Naperville, IL. I plan on eventually additionally receiving my Master’s degree. 

    I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working out/ yoga, dog walking, going to the beach in the summer, and drinking lots of iced coffee and chai tea! I have a crazy two-year-old puppy and four-year-old cat at home who are my pride and joy.


    My mission as a teacher is to provide a welcoming, safe, and loving classroom environment that promotes a love for learning, trying our best, accepting one another's differences, and encouraging one another. In our Kindergarten class we will practice respecting ourselves and our classmates, growing our faith together, challenging ourselves, and nurturing supportive relationships.
