    SSPP

SS. Peter and Paul Catholic School is a PK through 8th grade school located in Cary, Illinois, and is accredited by the Diocese of Rockford and the Illinois State Board of Education. Founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1928, SS. Peter & Paul School is designed to contribute to the total development of the child: spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Our dedicated faculty is comprised of highly educated teachers committed to Catholic Education. The faculty and staff endeavors not only to teach Catholic doctrine and values but to help the students live the Catholic message in their daily lives. SSPP recognizes that education begins in the family; in partnership with the family, the school will help each child develop his or her greatest potential.

Standardized test results consistently rank our students among the top nationally. Our students continue on to high school and beyond with great success, including many valedictorians and salutatorians at Cary-Grove, Prairie Ridge, and Marian Central high schools.

In addition to grades 1 - 8, SS. Peter and Paul School offers 2, 3, and 4 year old Preschool and full day Kindergarten. An all-school Mass is celebrated once a week. All students receive daily lessons in faith formation. In addition, second grade students receive preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.

SS. Peter and Paul School follows the Diocese of Rockford curriculum which exceeds both state and national standards.
