• About Sports at SSPP

    The SS. Peter & Paul Athletic Committee was formed to provide every student attending SS. Peter & Paul Catholic School in grades 5-8 , an opportunity to participate in an organized athletic activity. The Athletic Committee's philosophy is an extension of the school philosophy, and is aimed primarily at the complete development of physical skills, teamwork, and a good Christian attitude.

    SS. Peter & Paul Catholic School is a member of the Northwest Suburban Catholic Conference. NSCC shall:

    • Encourage mutual support among the membership
    • Promote good sportsmanship
    • Promote Christian character and conduct on and off the field of competition
    • Promote and protect athletic and other interests of member schools
    • Promote the physical development of each student and increase their potential for improvement in sports
    • Develop within each student a philosophy of teamwork and fair play
    • Promote growth in social skills and moral development
    • Create a spirit of camaraderie

    The success of the sports program is dependent on parental involvement as coaches, workers at home games, and most importantly good supporters of our student-athletes.
